This Beech tree is situated at the Weirs in the heart of Winchester.
It has a very high amenity value, set in one the beautiful open spaces right in the city centre by the cathedral, and being seen by hundreds of people a day.
Cavities and dead wood mean that this tree is a vital support for wildlife in the city, and is part of the city's history.
